I’m incredibly honoured to have received the Sustainability Champion Award at the University of Dundee’s Bridge Dundee Alumnni Awards. Even more special was sharing this award with Graeme Munro-Hall, whose decades of work advancing mercury-free dentistry and environmental sustainability have had a truly global impact.
It was also a real pleasure to return to Dundee for the awards lunch and spend time with other alumni. Hearing the stories of fellow winners was a wonderful reminder of the diverse ways Dundee graduates are making a positive difference around the world.
A huge thank you to the University of Dundee for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported me throughout my career so far. As a Geography and Environmental Science graduate, it’s particularly meaningful to receive an award that celebrates sustainability and positive environmental change.
